The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 后面逻辑不通 前面怪物也不对劲 整体就变身那儿有点儿新鲜劲儿
不是没有亮点：在黑暗中轻轻叩门的声音、阴郁早熟的少年还有在理智崩溃边缘但依旧试图保护孩子的父亲。但引入原住民传说却缺少原住民参演作为注解、怪物的战力飘忽以及变身之后恐怖氛围开始直线下降，导演还有颇多要学习的地方。
抖音一定也赞助了不少钱。
整体的基调也是慢悠悠的，看着就很想睡觉，最后女老师大战boss也是有点离谱。
第三幕完全垮掉了，不止烂俗而且处理的异常随意。前面的双线叙事处理的尚可，一边是逐渐揭开谜底的限制性叙事，该有的氛围是做到了，另一边则是对观众的全知视点展示，戏剧反讽的张力也有，反而是结尾最常见的“异形”与人的冲突处理的最为失败。5.5/10
一直没搞清楚怪物到底是啥，但杀人手段挺恶心的

还行吧，但也不是很值得一看。小孩演的不错。没头没尾地用了indigenous people 的故事，整个电影就是个大写的没头没尾。
有点不伦不类了，要说邪教就彻底点，要怪物就别扯宗教。
环境很西欧很冷艳，最喜欢冷色调下的惊悚。可惜怪物匆匆现身，草草收场。
已经尽力，这肃杀冷冽的氛围营造地很不错了，就是这个故事还是烂尾了，还是太赶了。这种质感要是能稍微再延长一点拍成电视剧，说不定能成为第二个鬼入侵。
把一个还有点吸引力的题材用最俗套的方式拍出来了
导演完全没有把故事拍好，就当做是当地旅游环境宣传片好了
2021年度最佳恐怖片还得是《寂静之地2》。
高开低走，前半部分真的挺吸引人的，后面被脑瘫剧情毁了，可惜了。
