The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 充斥著刻意空洞的女同笑話（母親對Gay的過度接受從有積極意義的詼諧喜劇拍漸變成無聊笑梗，女主冷笑話王的人設並不成功），瑣碎無謂的對白（高中生連綿不絕的無營養幼稚口水話），平平無奇的情節設計（塗鴉停學危機、田徑特訓交易、雙向真相揭露、暗戀秘密），浮誇的繽紛情感表現，以及極不crush的化學反應（可能童年時期還更可愛些），看了半小時即味同嚼蠟。姐妹陰影（twins中的備胎）、情感課題（敢於面對自身的emotion與脆弱，迷戀的幻滅與覺醒，愛的如期而至），雖然努力昇華立意，還是極缺深度和新意。可以把青春愛情成長喜劇拍得如此淺薄敷衍無趣，Hulu也很不容易。

高中女生最大的烦恼是担心自己喜欢的艺术学院会不会录取自己，人生中最开心的一刻是和妈妈出柜的那一刻，面临的最纠结的事是不知道该选自己一直暗恋的女生还是在相处中慢慢产生感情的女生。这一二三罗列出来，我只能说美国人偷我人生。

很平庸，画面挺清新的，剧情前半部分因为设定环境很包容，期待后面有什么新奇有趣的发展，结果平平无奇，结尾也很烂熟。

虽然剧情上没有什么大惊喜，但是谁能不爱节奏轻快，配乐欢快，美式幽默浓郁的校园百合片呢。
看多了这种超级political correctness的真的很让人厌烦啊，不管主线是gay les trans queer，永远都是大锅炖再加上意外open的成天sex挂嘴上的家长。一整个刻意住，就跟申学季冒出来一半lgbt+一样……no offense
两星半，无聊的小甜片，属于姬佬的Love, Simon之类。虽然观感不太可以，但却很有必要，偶尔也要提醒一下自己，原来这个世界上还有高中生过着这样一种快乐的生活，是谁在酸？我不说。
但如果这个剧本最终以小说形式展现，那这些在影视中容易露怯的细节，就可以由读者自己去填充完善，不会因为视觉设计的短板使得想要展现的视觉效果大打折扣。

THE lgbt teen romcom I’ve been waited for!
各方面都比较优良的青春动画。立意不深，但很合适这种小清新的喜剧动画。JC画妹子真的可以信赖，剧情虽然有点点天马行空，但是很浪漫，使人小感动，推荐
