剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     沿用舞台原版的男主到电影当中，对这个角色确实是驾轻就熟。作为歌舞片，里面的几个唱段是相当好听，不过观众还是当普通剧情片在看本片，期间影厅里有人喊“stop singing! ”。确实够催泪，尤其结尾处的三连催泪弹，到后来我也没扛住流泪了。作为一个社恐的人看本片，得到的启示原来是谎言可以拯救社恐……

    由于没有看过音乐剧版本的，所以对这部影片的打分只能综合音乐剧元素和电影元素。作为电影，有些片段实在有点尴尬，因为就是在干唱。但作为音乐剧，很能打，音乐性自不必说，整个剧情走向看到中段时我一度怀疑它是否要走向普通音乐剧的大结局忽略最主体的矛盾，还好最后Evan Hansen仍去面对了它。结局设置的很真实，自己埋下的谎言终究要自己去解决，自己内心的恐惧也要自己去面对。Dear Evan Hansen。

    结尾疲软了，但不足以影响我在这个故事体验过的感动和反思。另，Ben Platt 诚然是大了，但绝不至于很违和；假使你连CW那种选角都看得下去，就更没理由从这个角度吐槽。

    better than I thought 不是很懂音乐剧和改编音乐剧etc 但是感觉Evan的歌声一直到speech那里才变得diegetic 这个设计感觉挺妙的 但总的来说欣赏不太来建立在谎言上的故事 而且Connor的可怜之处交代的不是很清楚 不清楚为什么一直到最后Evan都是阴阳脸打光 the ending is not bad tho

    70/100 前一个小时还是很好的，后面开始崩坏，唱的歌感觉都不是很符合情景，除了摩尔的那一首歌。虽说是这样，但也是今年今年看的最符合心境的歌舞片了。

    TIFF上映的电影经过好姐妹安利一起在院线看了！真的要关注年轻人的心理健康，好几句台词非常touching：Even when the dark comes crashing through, and when you need a friend to carry you, when you're broken on the ground you will be found.
