The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 二十年后可以改一下，和剧中相反的思路，会很吸引人
立意和主旨其实很好，用不同的视角来认识自己、看待世界就是不同的人生。但……只能说故弄玄虚去搞悬疑，答案是如此淡而无味的话，很影响观感。

就是一个不怎么阳光的童话。几乎可以预测所有情节发展，人物各种脸谱化，尤其是前男友，一副精虫上脑的表演贯穿青少年到中年。最后一句轻飘飘的道歉抹去了这相当于犯罪的伤害，不理解。
