The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 以怪物隐喻吸毒的人，小男孩长的很灵，非常解暑，就是最后女主杀死怪物有点轻易了
后半看得要睡着了，就有人莫名其妙怪物化，有人莫名其妙犯傻。
就算是小学女教师单挑怪物，片子无聊就是无聊。倒是片中小镇风景如画。
怪物没出现的时候，还挺有氛围感
影像风格很有特色，视听上也不错。不过故事很平庸。
氛围营造得不错，叙事结构太差，催眠效果一绝。
倒也不是多么难看
前面都很好，结局崩盘了，可惜了这出色的惊悚恐怖片了
镜头冷冽，影像风格大气，这片子的摄影，很有诺兰商业大片的味道，非常专业。

白白期待了一年，以为是个怎样爆款炸裂的恐怖悬疑片，看了才知道就是个故弄玄虚让人昏昏欲睡的烂片！导演想要表达的太多，又是原生家庭，又是家庭暴力，又是校园霸凌，又是怪物克苏鲁。。。只可惜执行力太差，剧本太弱，人物单薄，白白浪费了雾气弥漫、寒冷阴郁气氛的小镇，故事其实很简单，干脆拍成短片或许会更好一些！明明嗜血成性杀戮无数的怪物居然被光环附体的女主随便就给KO？！我期待了一年的怪物片就这？！一星，差评！真的不推荐！
不吓人也不好看 没想到一个小木屋进门被怪物杀掉的桥段硬是来了三次 高潮部分怎么随随便便怪物就被杀掉了
悬空呕吐，恐龙尬舞，安保爆手，Mulder探员忆苦思甜，还有个无聊吐槽彩蛋，也许是Judd Apatow的最差导演作？

剧情都是套路，没有任何起伏意外，过分单一，就是很平庸的一部惊悚片。
