The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 缺点明显，但是我私心真的太喜欢这种无边无际探索宇宙的童话了——看到黑色幕布白色星星，看到人物的冒险都是单纯又充满爱的，我觉得我的灵魂在跟着颤抖。故事很弱，但碰巧又是我喜欢的主题don’t look back以及不要拒绝身边的亲密关系的可能。最后必须要说一句，猫猫就是最好的！
不好看，也就是给孩子看个热闹吧，大人可以选择不看了
太让人快乐的一部电影了！！果然宇宙的尽头不是什么地表最强，全球第一聪明，而是“我们”啊！！！！！
中规中矩毫无惊喜，具像化自己的心魔这一点有点算是一点巧思。但是毫无亮点的捣蛋队友真的很难喜欢上，男主的表现就显得十分圣母。其次，剧情推动全靠无脑制造的冲突，整体下来也没讲什么内容。玩具永远比人可爱，皮克斯拿捏了。

好久没有看到这样老套充满人情味的故事了，结合疫情背景下更显得珍贵，生活中有比钱和赢更重要的东西值得守护。
玩具总动员电影的衍生电影系列，巴斯光年一直都是人气很高的角色，前传和背景故事塑造起来很值得看；开头前二十分钟惊叹于皮克斯精致的画面和宇宙飞船的戏份，但是剧情从危机出现就逐渐老套；但是作为玩具总动员粉丝还是值得一看的，揭示大反派zurg的真实身份，另外猫猫机器人真的很可爱。本片当中的LGBT元素，导致本片无法在大陆上映……

男女主角的外形和气质，立刻让我回想起六年前遇到的一对米国夫妻。那是前川普时代的一次长途自驾，充分感受到 “小镇米国” 的温情。同时，目前自己刚好也在努力培养跟老婆的共同乐趣，很羡慕剧中夫妻的默契。影片看了几分钟，就决定要跟老婆一起看。可是当时网上还只有机翻字幕，于是一时冲动手动翻译了字幕全文，放到subhd上了，希望帮更多观众理解这部好片。--字幕名字是：杰瑞和玛姬大乐透，感觉比目前的名字更贴近剧情。然后去提出修改申请，发现那个名字已在备选项中，也希望更多人建议修改一下。
