The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 其实整部电影都在讲，为什么是他，也只能是他写出Rent。
满怀期望的打开，看着看着目光开始呆滞，甚至想关上播放器去睡会觉。
老生常谈冲奥片 可以看出背后所有人对音乐剧的热爱
形式大于内容，表达方式大于故事本身。中规中矩。

虽然是总集篇，高画质配合弹幕食用依然可以顺畅看完。
舞台剧、传记片、歌舞片的无缝结合，加菲的表演也非常动人。同时也是高潮不断的音乐盛宴。爱乐之城后最好的歌舞片。
拔萃的歌舞片，即使毫无前置信息，也能在第一曲渐入佳境，直奔简洁鲜明的主题。电影抓住了而立之年梦想如何从清晰到成为破片的过程与精髓。不仅如此，音乐在传递年轻的视点和无处安放的情感之上，在结尾升华为燃烧生命唤醒年轻一代的艺术本质，放在现在依然具有极强的激励和反思价值。
梦想与爱情，配上音乐是绝佳的组合。
用处理舞台剧的手法来拍电影，连带着加菲也用夸张式的舞台剧状态来表演，能感受到努力但也觉得有些用力过猛，基本也是全片观感的缩影。剧中剧的模式其实有些节奏上的割裂，尤其在于主线落脚点找不准状况下；稍微了解一下背景能被Jonathan的事迹打动，但片子内呈现的效果就很cliché了。
