When Lauren disappears from a night club and doesn’t return home the next morning, her mother, Michelle, to avoid publicity and a scandal, decides to search for her missing daughter. Michelle soon discovers that her daughter might have been part of a pornographic snuff ring that lures young girls to make their money. Fearing for Lauren’s safety, Michelle hires the help of a store employee to find her daughter. But finding Lauren soon becomes an impossible task as no one really cares about missing girls or a mother’s lover for her baby. In order to find her daughter, Michelle must enter into the darkest and most shocking areas of the industry. Michelle will go anywhere and do anything to find her baby girl. . . How far will you go?

documentary-like and very poetic; the leading actress amazed me. "what's remembered, leaves" Everybody will eventually go down the road. But why not saying "goodbye", I like this word much more when I recently learned that it originally was an abbreviation of "God be with you". Fantastic use of music!

视角选题立意都很好 很喜欢导演的态度 客观展现事实并尊重个人选择 一直偏好这种有意义的影片 反映现实问题并引人思考 期待导演下一部影片
这部片里看到了很多很多其他电影、真实事件以及人物的影子，但又觉得略有不及，有一种窥探到某一特定群体的表面生活，浮光掠影的感觉，总体还是觉得不太够深刻
8.5/10。①没有房子的房车客女主四处流浪的现代游牧生活，也在过程中被遇到的人们治愈。②通过生活流叙事、舒适的音响、颓废灰冷却又美而散漫的高水平摄影美术等营造了疏冷又浪漫的氛围。③大量运用非职演增强写实感。④对影像元素的调用水准还有提升空间（剪辑和叙事节奏等）。⑤女主有家却因种种原因而待不住，赵婷又何尝不是呢？
解封的第二部院线电影，Giulio Cesare电影院。值得一看但是没有达到预期。Einaudi的配乐十分煽情。在他乡和在路上有着类似的心境，“家”是无法到达的了。
《无依之地》再简洁不过的电影。路上之国，一个人和一群人，用淡泊、坚韧和友爱，重覆破碎人生。给近几年走类型化的电影节打脸。五星。
当物质匮乏，情感找到归途，精神开始幽微动人。
太遗憾不能在大银幕上看这个片子。Swankie的故事最触动我，因为我有相同的经历：某年法国的海边，和朋友夜里去海边。嶙峋的怪石，深蓝的海，巨大的月亮，远处灯塔的微光。当时心里也在想，如果现在死了，我也没有遗憾。（电影的瑕疵我觉得是音乐，缺乏点想象力。）

在公路上，对时间的感知被剥夺，成为只有现在和过去的游荡的幽灵，缅怀过去，渴望相遇。Nomadland又是无限的空间，目光所达之处都是可以抵达的地方。所以说see you down the road，对未来时空的期待浓缩在这一句中。
虽然很流畅，关注的议题和视角也足够独特，甚至有深刻的意义。华裔女性导演拿到国际奖项，这件事情也很振奋人心。但似乎特别的部分就是这些了。

两次泪崩。。一次是看到Swankie发来燕子满天飞的视频。。一次是see you down the road。。一路的悲伤和执着。。看完内心满满的。。他们这些人。。看似游离在荒野。。却恰恰是最难以割舍情感的。。导演大赞。。嫂子大赞。。镜头大赞。。配乐大赞。。
