The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 三星半。或许运动员传记有很多种切入法，但苏桦伟的故事确实要从妈妈讲起。
哭掉兩張tempo紙巾。吳君如真的厲害，從金雞到神奇小子，所做的選擇題都做對了。演男主角的幾個演員，初登大銀幕之作來說都十分亮眼。故事就是人生，人生皆能道出種種故事。
最末尾有个感动点。

65分/挺不错的，残疾运动员的困境讲的有深度，妈妈说你天生残疾没人会怪你，但别人责怪我对你太狠心。这段自我剖析虽然点到为止，但其实含义深刻。缺点就是妈妈有时候会喊口号式的的撒鸡汤。
生命的神奇之处就在于没有任何一个医生可以宣判它的死刑。
2.母子情
有些巧合过于刻意。但戏剧冲突嘛！可以理解！希望能够得到对于残障运动员的重视。北京冬残奥会开幕后更觉得信心运动员很了不起啊。
最末尾有个感动点。

吴君如这个妆造实在是太出戏了，运动员在那个时候确实有点惨。今年举重冠军也都开始接广告了，开心😊

温情表现十足，题材挖掘不够
3.运动员的生存情况，但是没有深入探讨
有点太像催泪抒情mv了，故事是感人的，但全程让人觉得“啊…呃…好吧…”日常的镜头会突然冒出一个强光源，就很样板戏很出戏。
情节上的起承转合很工整，人物的高光和困境都合理展现，煽情和热血互为作用，虽然程度有点过但不会令人反感。演员们都演得很好，港味很纯正的体育题材，必须要看粤语原声。华语片已经越来越乏善可陈了，港产片会慢慢触底反弹吗？感觉有这个迹象。
