The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 尽管印度目前为止人权还没得到完全的保护 但是至少人权律师还是有人权的。这片子imdb评分超过肖申克的救赎确实有点夸张 政治意义大于电影本身 确实因为阶级差距过大 所以看起来会比辩护人更残忍。

一个印度版的逆转裁判，但建立在更沉重的背景之上。印度电影除了艺术的功用外，还承担着教化功能。所以观众对片子的热情，有一部分源自于现实而非电影。

真实故事很厉害，但是电影就还是印度电影。不过印度至少现在能拍这样的故事了，而我们在一个虚构的故事里都不能说警察有黑暗面

片中反应的种姓制度有多荒谬，处于制度最底层的人民生活就有多沉重，而男主这样愿意站出来去帮助他们抗争的人，就有多值得歌颂。
