During the US Civil War, Union POWs escape in a balloon and end up stranded on a South Pacific island, inhabited by giant plants and animals. In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 支撑看下去的动力有两个：原著铺了那么长时间的GGAD故事张力还在；此外就是Newt的性格，一个羞涩、谦逊、充满母性、堪称有毒男性气质反面的典型Hufflepuff，也能承担起救世职责（并当好早期邓布利多军的忠实棋子）。其他问题大家也都能看见——硬编的故事既不聪明，也无法匹配本应宏大的世界观，只能沦为虚张声势的环球影城过山车秀，编导三人组能力也就到这儿了。
剧情已经是平到不能再平了，对于一个不习惯看搞基的人来说，几乎全程皱眉看完。笑点一般，能想起来的除了预告片里Jacob被女巫闪现吓到，纽特兄弟走螃蟹步那里算一个吧。最后两个老头相互摸胸那里，被一种刻意的虐点虐到一秒，不知为何，觉得德普的脸更配格林德沃，虽然Mads气质出尘，但感觉过于正义，不够邪魅。Tina出现一共一分钟不到，简直比格林德沃的随从还要酱油。这个系列电影叫《克雷登斯和他悲惨的一生》更为贴切。谢幕后脑海里立马蹦出来的“就这？”二字，除了是对故事有些失望，更多是对魔法世界的不舍，一别再见又是两年后。不管怎么烂，怎么卖情怀，怎么平淡，我仍然是它的受众，you got me, always.

电影院重新开放了，立马去看了这部电影。但这部电影连HP粉丝都喜欢不来。到底想表达什么，东拼西凑一堆，有一些桥段根本没有存在的必要。

挺好看的啊，比上一部好多了，至少我没睡着，还觉得挺想看下去的。很多类似的电影连让人看下去的耐心都没有。
烂到不想看结果，一些电影烂，但还有可能好奇结局有多烂，而这个，无聊到不想知道到底有多烂。

3真的扑街了，找不出任何亮点，从头到尾就重复着哈利波特宇宙的陈词滥调……话说回来其实我真的不反对捡点哈利波特原著里的垃圾，那么多的梗和铺垫，你哪怕稍微加工一点都还能看的。然而令人失望的是：不管裘花和麦叔怎么张口闭口“爱“啊“恋”啊，甚至结尾互相摸胸，我都没看出他们之间哪怕一丝一毫的CP感，毕竟书里写的那个眼神中有点George/Fred捣蛋鬼神气的大魔头，那个死都不希望邓伯多坟墓被打扰的大魔头，最后呈现出来却是这么一个无聊无趣只会杀小麒麟的面瘫呢！（如果让我编，我就要G在竞选上舌战群儒颠倒众生，揭开其他候选人的伪善面具，就冲这个看不惯陈腐的叛逆劲儿，D才不后悔17岁那年的初恋心动😄）
我睡了有半个小时，最神奇的动物可能还是人类。
