只言片语中透露出不景气经济大环境下的时代背景，从美国撤回，需要适应的不仅有疾病会夺走母亲，还有教育环境，曾经暂时缺席的父亲。

片尾的音乐极佳 突然出人声出片尾曲好跳tune 演员还不错 故事没讲好 也不投入 也不好哭 就是拧巴 大可不必的那种 不过终于这么多年 能看懂林嘉欣了
感觉比《瀑布》差好多，家庭的框支起来，结果不管是内里填的内容还是外在背景都表象化和程式化的。表现中式家庭的好电影太多了，这片虽然是导演亲身经历，演员表演也中规中矩，但仍然显得平庸。
有那么一丢丢李安早期的感觉，但总觉得还是差一口气，不过很喜欢这些年港台社会人文主题的一些电影，因为咱国产电影几乎很少拍，或者说是没市场、没投资、没法拍。
其实也都没什么大不了的矛盾。我说她妈妈怎么那么眼熟，片尾字幕出来才知道是林嘉欣，真的很久没怎么看她的电影了。
女儿看着就跟韩片《爱.回家》里的小孩一样叫人厌烦。说明一个道理，在家庭关系里，幼子代表的既是索取的角色，而厌恶被索取是人类的共性，这点不会比动物更理性。或者承担家庭时就已经签下了这份承诺，一方将会只知道索取，另一方始终无怨无悔。我们把这份承诺称之为“爱”。

林嘉欣还演的挺好的……出乎意料啊！有种看到自己变老的辛酸

从故事到表演都没有留下太深印象的小品。“同龄人电影”这个属性这一回没有加分。

啊 台灣的老師那麼兇哦…衝突的醞釀和爆發很真實。想要的、能接受的、想給的、能給的之間的衝突。如果能哪怕給一點離開美國家的時候的片段來展現母女三人在美國時候的關係和交流方式，那回到台灣之後生活方式和各人行為的轉變應該會更明確一些吧。

先看了《米纳里》再看的这部 觉得东亚的亲情都好苦 生活也很苦 虽然生活本来就苦 但怎么亲情都爱得这么苦啊 唉 中间有几场吵架太共情了看得我爆哭 但我为什么要因为吵架触动呢
这话也可以在接下来的日子里，不断地用来问我自己。
里面描写的20年前台湾学校教育和家庭教育的氛围，像极了现在中国大陆的样子，老师体罚学生，家长打骂小孩，成绩差的学生受排挤，言语霸凌的严重性被忽视。
家有两女，如有两宝。女主演的真好，依旧喜欢林嘉欣。

3.5 很多細節都蠻精準的，真的是很有天分。攝影加分太多，每場戲的燈光細節都布置得很不錯。
