The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 有关张伯伦是不是洗白之类的，害，都找铁叔来演了还不说明问题吗？就像希特勒的形象被刻画为矮小的疯子，说明影片制作方想要表现出希特勒形象就是如此昂。
前半部分渲染的很好，到了慕尼黑就开始崩坏了，看着着急啊。张伯伦颇有点当年李鸿章式的无奈啊。两个愣头青太不把政治当回事儿了。元首说的没错，他周围的都是没种的软蛋啊~但凡英法或者国内反对势力强硬一点，德国也不至于那么嚣张

感觉这个框架还是不太有发挥空间的那种，举个例子来说就是Paul意图暗杀希特勒那段，观众会紧张但又知道没必要紧张。
題材屬於高難度的那種，拍得好可成就經典，但N記拍成了類近每月之星的流水帳。
二战影片浩如烟海，如此片关注二战将临前的那段时期的不多，尤其是关于英德之间签订慕尼黑协义的，更是少见。此片胜在题材新鲜。它采用了历史与虚构相结合的手法，影片似在为张伯伦的绥靖政策翻案。似乎关注点太多，未能聚焦于一点，如《奥斯陆协议》那样，更有一种焦灼感与历史现场感。在演员选择上，两个主角都似乎有些游离。最差的是影片开头，如此重大历史事件，却像是青春校园片一样，很不吸引人。

很一般，食之无味，本应很紧张的一个历史桥段像闹着玩一样，双男主也拯救不了。
